About This Trip
Your Cairo excursion from Hurghada by flight - first you start your unforgettable day early in the morning with pickup directly from your hotel in Hurghada. Afterwards, after a comfortable ride in an air-conditioned vehicle, you will fly quickly to Cairo, where your German-speaking Egyptologist will warmly welcome you and accompany you throughout the day.
Your adventure then begins with a city tour through modern Cairo - past Tahrir Square, the Cairo Opera and the imposing Cairo Tower. Afterwards, the legendary Giza Plateau awaits you: The majestic pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Menkaure as well as the mysterious Sphinx. You have enough time for photos and can optionally explore the interior of a pyramid or take a traditional camel ride through the desert.
Afterwards, enjoy a delicious lunch buffet in a traditional restaurant with a view of the pyramids, before heading to the Egyptian Museum in the afternoon. There you will marvel at one of the world's largest collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including the famous golden death mask of Pharaoh Tutankhamun. Optionally, you can also visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum (at an additional cost).
In the evening you will immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Stroll through narrow streets, discover souvenirs, spices and handicrafts and let yourself be enchanted by the oriental flair.
Finally, after an eventful day, you will fly relaxed back to Hurghada, where a comfortable transfer will take you safely to your hotel. A journey full of history, culture and unforgettable impressions awaits you!
