About This Trip
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the morning and travel comfortably in an air-conditioned minivan. Snacks, cola and three bottles of water ensure that you start the day full of energy. As you drive through the Eastern Desert you'll enjoy breathtaking views of mountain ranges reminiscent of the Alps and stop briefly at a Bedouin village to buy drinks or use the bathroom facilities. The green Nile Valley then opens up before you before you continue to Luxor.
Your discovery tour begins. With the majestic Karnak Temple complex, the largest temple complex in Egypt, with an impressive hypostyle hall, gigantic obelisks and the picturesque Sacred Lake. Afterwards, enjoy lunch in a cozy Egyptian restaurant or, optionally, take a relaxing cruise on the Nile and admire the landscape from a different perspective.
In the afternoon the journey takes you to the Valley of the Kings, where you visit the famous tombs of the pharaohs, including the tomb of Tutankhamun. Afterwards you will explore the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, a masterpiece of Egyptian architecture and history. A photo stop at the Colossi of Memnon, the imposing statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, rounds off the day.
In the evening, the team will bring you safely back to your hotel, and you will take with you unforgettable impressions and lasting memories of a day full of history and fascinating monuments.
