Your unforgettable day begins very early when you will be picked up directly from your hotel in an air-conditioned van. As you drive through the desert you will enjoy the view of the impressive mountain landscapes. You will reach Cairo. Your day starts there with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, where over 120,000 artifacts from the time of the Pharaohs await you - including impressive statues, jewelry and mummies.

Afterwards you have the opportunity to take an optional Nile cruise by sailing or motorboat. This way you can experience life on the legendary river up close. On another day, your program begins comfortably this time in an air-conditioned limousine. You have the choice between two fascinating experiences that show you different sides of ancient Egypt.

Option A – Old Cairo & Saladin Citadel

If you choose this option, you will delve deep into the historic heart of Cairo.

Your first stop is the impressive Citadel of Saladin. From here you can enjoy a great panoramic view of the city.
Afterwards you walk through the famous Khan el-Khalili bazaar. Colorful stalls, oriental scents and handmade works of art await you.
You will then visit the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, important religious sites.
At the end of this tour, enjoy a delicious lunch in a traditional Egyptian restaurant (drinks not included).

Option B – Sakkara & Memphis

Alternatively, you can choose the historic route to Sakkara and Memphis.

Here you will visit the famous step pyramid of Djoser, which is considered the oldest stone construction in the world. You will learn exciting details about the development of pyramid construction.
Then we continue to Memphis, the first capital of Ancient Egypt. There you will marvel at the colossal statue of Ramses II and the impressive alabaster sphinx.
